Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading renewable energy consultancy to recruit a Renewables Electrical Engineer to support on renewable infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe.

The Renewables Electrical Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience, alongside an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties of the Renewables Electrical Engineer role

Reporting to the Head of Electrical you will:

• Advise clients on grid connection requirements, associated costs, project timescales and technical considerations for renewable energy developments.
• Prepare and submit grid connection applications and modification requests for wind, solar PV and battery energy storage projects.
• Review and oversee the design, installation and commissioning of electrical infrastructure to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure grid connection infrastructure is delivered in accordance with Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and Transmission System Operator (TSO) requirements
