Anderson Knight is proud to partner with its leading global client in the FMCG sector to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced, collaborative and highly successful business.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while providing valuable commercial insight to stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
* Support the budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
* Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial controls are maintained.
* Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commentary on key variances.
* Partner with operational teams to provide financial support and commercial insight.
* Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency across the finance function.
* Support internal and external audit requirements.
* Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and project work as required.
About You
* ACCA or CIMA finalist is essential.
* Previous experience within a management accounting or finance role.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
* Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience of ERP systems being advantageous.
