We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join the Purchase ledger team for a UK Wide Facilities Maintenance company. This role is a 2 Month contract with possible extension.

Main Duties:

• Reconciliation of all invoices to orders.
• Notification and follow up of discrepancies following defined procedures
• Batching invoices for posting
• Deal with purchase enquiries
• Resolve ledger queries
• Telephone, scanning and email internal and external buyers,commercial surveyors and supplier contacts
• Assist in preparation of purchase ledger summaries
• Assist with month end/year end procedures
• Check and reconcile supplier statements
• Schedule supplier payments
• Related purchase ledger tasks as required

What we are looking for

• Experience in a similar role Finance or Purchase Ledger role
• Good understanding of invoicing and invoicing software
• Excellent organisational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
