About The Role

As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC‑One you will be a role model, embodying supreme kindness in every aspect of your work across our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will support residents’ care planning, ensure choice and independence, deliver nursing tasks delegated to you, report accidents, and spend time with residents exhibiting dementia symptoms, always putting resident wellbeing first.

You

We are looking for Senior Care Assistants who want to develop skills, earn more, and take on greater responsibility. You will participate in a development program that upskills you to become a Nursing Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with administering medicines, wound care, catheter care, and other direct clinical tasks under qualified nurse supervision.
  • Help deliver resident care plans and promote choice and independence.
  • Report accidents and safeguarding concerns, attend safeguarding training, and engage in additional training where needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to support resident wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or working towards).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or comparable leadership role, especially around medication administration and shift leadership.
  • Knowledge of person‑led care planning and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
