Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic family support worker/nursery nurse with current practice experience to work part time, within the Health Visiting Family Support Team based in the Stirling area of NHS Forth Valley.
The Health Visiting Service works with a varied client population, including children and families with known vulnerabilities, and covers the geographical areas of Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire. The successful candidate will become a key member of the Health Visiting Family Support Team within Stirling and will be expected to have knowledge and skills to support and enhance the health agenda for families with pre‑school children, working with health visitors and families in health improvement work to promote health and wellbeing, prevent ill health, and reduce health inequalities within the community.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Information on this scheme can be found at .
Working Hours & PayAs from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
