Park Terrace Medical Practice is looking to recruit a part‑time medical receptionist who is friendly, keen, and flexible to join our lovely team.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills, experience in dealing face‑to‑face with the general public and computer literacy are required. A team player with a flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise workload around the demands of a busy reception area are essential.

• Deal carefully and sensitively with patients at reception and on the telephone.
• Make appointments and handle results.
• Answer general enquiries and process repeat prescription requests.
• Scan clinical correspondence and deal with delegated tasks from clinical staff.
• Perform general administration duties.

• Experience working within a customer or patient‑facing setting.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, able to work fast‑paced.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy.
• Team player with flexibility and prioritisation skills.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Flexibility is important to cover annual leave and absence within the team.

Salary is dependent on experience.
