Role:
Support Practitioner / Support Worker / Care Assistant / Care Worker

Service overview:
The role supports residents in the Grangemouth Care Home, Grangemouth Outreach, Alloa HMO and Alloa Outreach services.

• Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and work well with supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
• Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on the ARKS Information Management system.
• Support people with a range of disabilities and ages across various settings, including 24‑hour personal care and assistance with finances, shopping and social activities.

Relief work is performed on an as‑and‑when basis to cover sickness absence, study leave and other staff contingencies. Regular or continued placement cannot be guaranteed and may change from time to time.

• Statutory annual leave paid monthly based on hours worked.
• Fully funded PVG and first‑year SSSC registration paid by Ark.

• Previous experience as a Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant or Social Care Worker is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
