Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the role of Clinical Support Worker in community residential services for adults with a learning disability, across Forth Valley.
Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care and support to improve the quality of life for service users, both in their own homes and within the local community.
- Work as an integral part of a small team, demonstrating dignity and respect and upholding NHS Forth Valley values in daily care delivery.
- Act as part of the Keyworker system and support service users with all aspects of daily living and individual lifestyle activities where required.
- Contribute to planning and delivering care to meet individual needs and preferences, prioritising the needs and choices of the people who use our services.
- Be flexible with work patterns, including shift work, weekend work, and sleepover duties; additional hours may be required to meet support needs and attend staff meetings or training.
- Qualification at SVQ Level 2/3 Health & Social Care is highly desirable; evidence of relevant study such as values-based training is also valuable.
- Training will be provided to achieve a relevant SVQ as a requirement of the post; applicants should be prepared to achieve this within an agreed timescale.
- The SVQ in Health and Social Care at level 2 is a minimum requirement for this role under the Scottish Social Services Council; registration with the SSSC is required for this post.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the service delivery area is essential.
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required.
- Positions are available across Falkirk, Stirling & Dunblane.
- In line with best practice, service users may be involved in interview and selection procedures if they choose.
