Specialist Occupational Therapist - ReACH Clacks

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership Community AHP Rehab Team (Reach Clacks and Stirling). You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective delivery of patient care within a community rehab service.

• Provide community rehabilitation to people living at home or in a homely setting, with a varied clinical caseload.
• Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice and in-service training.
• Contribute to supervision and development of junior staff and, where appropriate, undergraduate/pre-reg students.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective delivery of patient care.
• Be willing and able to travel throughout the service delivery area.

• Ability and willingness to manage fluctuating workloads and remain flexible in a busy environment.
• Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required.
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a community/rehabilitation setting is preferred.

• Potential opportunities for clinical supervision and appraisal of junior staff and contribution to supervision and development of students.
• Continued professional development and participation in training opportunities.
