An opportunity within Stirling Council at Fallin Primary School for a full‑time temporary janitor.

The post involves providing janitorial services on a term‑time, full‑time basis in support of the school community for a six‑month period from recruitment.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm (including a 60‑minute unpaid break) and paid at Stirling Council Grade 4.

Applicants must be physically fit; porterage and heavy lifting form a large part of the role, and they may be required to work outdoors in inclement weather.

Personal protective equipment and training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Occasional overtime working evenings to cover school lets may also be required.

Applicants should have a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to use Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.

Successful candidates will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults. If your application is progressed after the interview you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
