Assistant Manager – Full Time
Hours and SalaryHours:
43 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £31,449 – £32,648 per annum.

Shop in Stirling, Stirling. Permanent full‑time position, variety of shifts 5 days per week, usually including at least one weekend shift.
Full‑time positions require flexibility across the week, including weekends.
Pay & BenefitsSalary offered: £31,449.60 – £32,648.16 per annum on a 43‑hour contract.

- Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
- Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
- Be accountable for the shop in the absence of the shop manager and ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are maintained for safety, cleanliness and tidiness.
- Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
- Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team.
- Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
- Completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if hired for the position, subject to a satisfactory check.
