Role Availability
This role is available either as a full‑time role for one person, or as a 0.6
FTE role for two people.
- Lead the staff team by example, with integrity and commitment to the organisation’s values.
- Recruit, train and retain volunteers sufficient to provide support to families referred to the service.
- Provide support to volunteers, offering opportunities to challenge them and develop their skills.
- Use a trauma‑informed approach to mitigate the ongoing difficulties that early childhood trauma can cause in a child’s development.
- Work in partnership with families to identify their own goals and outcomes.
- Work in partnership with other organisations to assess and monitor the needs of children.
- Keep children safe from harm.
