CAB Addiction and Recovery Advice Project Worker

Job Purpose

To provide specialist, trauma informed welfare benefits, money, debt, and housing advice to individuals affected by alcohol and substance use. Particularly those engaged with recovery Services in Clackmannanshire. The post focuses on reducing the practical and financial stressors that can function as barriers to recovery, including benefit insecurity, debt, housing instability, and fuel poverty. The role also supports recovery practitioners and partner agencies, enabling them to better support clients while maintaining their strong recovery focus.

You will deliver assistance with DWP and Social Security Scotland paperwork, including assistance with gathering medical evidence, benefit applications, mandatory reconsiderations, and where appropriate, tribunal representation.
