Location: Mount Pearl

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Technician Apprentice Level 1,2,3,4. This role offers an opportunity to further develop your technical expertise while contributing to a dynamic team environment. As an apprentice, you will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Diagnostics & Repairs:
    Assist in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems. Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and verify repairs.
  • Routine Maintenance:
    Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements, ensuring vehicles operate efficiently and safely.
  • Component Replacement & Assembly:
    Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed, replacing worn or damaged parts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
  • Experience:
    1-2 years of experience in an automotive repair setting, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
  • Licensing:
    A valid driver's license is required. Possession of an automotive service technician certificate or enrollment in an apprenticeship program is required
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair manuals.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy components as needed.
