The Miller Group is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for a seasonal contract in New Liskeard. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery, support construction tasks, and ensure safety compliance. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial as you collaborate with fellow employees to accomplish project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate heavy equipment per regulations
• Move, grade, and compact various materials
• Read blueprints and interpret operational instructions
• Complete daily machinery inspections and maintenance
• Maintain general labor duties and site cleanliness
Requirements:
• Experience in construction and equipment operation preferred
• Valid G driver’s license required
• Able to work outdoors in harsh conditions
• Strong communication abilities are essential
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
