Position: Engineering Student Role
Kickstart your engineering career with PCL Constructors Canada in St. Johns, Newfoundland. This role is ideal for engineering students available for 4 or 8 months starting September 2026.

We are looking for enthusiastic Engineering Students for our Toronto District operations within the Canadian Buildings Division. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience in coordinating project drawings, supervising sub-trade work, and participating in project meetings. Previous field construction experience is a plus, as you contribute to various site tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate drawings and verify material quantities

• Participate in project meetings and discussions

• Update deficiency logs and issue warranties

• Capture and coordinate progress photos on-site

• Produce as-built drawings and layout site conditions

Requirements:

• Strong desire to work in construction

• Prior field construction experience preferred

• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software

• Ability to coordinate with various trades and schedules

• Familiarity with total station for layout tasks
