Position  1.0 High School Skilled Trades and Residential Construction Classroom Teacher – Prince of Wales Collegiate, St. John’s (Full‑time Term, September 8, 2026 – June 25, 2027).
Location  24 Paton Street, St. John's, A1B 3E7

Job Summary  Full‑time term position teaching skilled trades and residential construction to high school students. The successful candidate is committed to fostering an inclusive, safe and caring learning environment and collaborating with colleagues, families, and the community.
Responsibilities  Prepare and deliver effective, responsive teaching and learning experiences aligned with curriculum standards, and assess, provide feedback, and report on student learning. Create a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment, engage collaboratively with families and the school community, and demonstrate a growth mindset and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications   Bachelor of Education – Secondary
NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher
Appropriate Training Methods
Diploma in Technology Education (equivalencies considered)
Salary & Benefits  Annual teacher salary scale per the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits per the agreement.
