Location: St. John's
Advance nursing education as a Nursing Laboratory Instructor at Memorial University in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The focus is on facilitating practical learning in a supportive lab environment.
This position involves instructing nursing students in laboratory courses within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Collaborative) program. You will engage students through effective lab design, simulations, and research-based content. Collaboration and strong communication skills will be essential to support student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and assist nursing students in lab techniques
• Design experiential learning and collaborate on lab content
• Evaluate student performance and grading of lab reports
• Manage lab inventory and enforce safety procedures
• Provide support for students outside formal lab hours
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of nursing experience, including acute care
• Bachelor's degree in nursing with a master's preferred
• Certificate of Registration with relevant nursing authority
• Proficient communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in post-secondary education is beneficial
