Full-time permanent Primary French Immersion classroom teacher position, St. Peters Elementary, Mt. Pearl. Duties commence September 8, 2026.
As a French second language teacher you will have a critical role in ensuring student achievement as specified in the curriculum guides of French programs. You are committed to furthering the goals for student success in an inclusive, safe and caring bilingual environment. - Bachelor of Education
- Primary/Elementary with a Minor in French (6 courses) - NL Teaching Certificate
- Level IV or higher - Minimum of B2 DELF Assessment (70% overall average with no less than 60% minimum in all four components)
- French First Language applicants may be considered equivalent
- Equivalencies will be considered
Annual Teacher Salary Scale as per NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
Additional NotesApplicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01(d) of the provincial collective agreement.
