Position: Full Time Pre-K Inclusion Educator
Location: St. John's

Elevate early childhood development as a Full Time Pre-K Inclusion Educator with the YMCA. Provide nurturing care and learning in an inclusive environment across Newfoundland and Labrador.

The YMCA seeks dedicated Early Childhood Educators for its Pre-Kindergarten programs. This role emphasizes essential skills in early learning while supporting children’s self-confidence and health. Candidates will focus on creating safe and stimulating environments while adhering to YMCA standards and provincial regulations in various locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster inclusive and respectful learning environments

• Implement the Playing to Learn emergency curriculum

• Support child development and family engagement

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

• Collaborate with team members and support operations

Requirements:

• ECE Certificate, Diploma or Degree in progress or completed

• Level 1-4 AECENL Certification with Pre-K classification

• Experience in early childhood education

• ASL proficiency is an asset

• Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
