Science and Technology Educator Position

Location: St. John's

Located in Mount Pearl, this role requires a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma in Technology Education. The successful candidate will implement effective teaching strategies while applying the eight standards of practice for classroom teachers. This includes creating an inclusive environment and engaging with families.

• Apply the eight standards of practice in teaching

• Engage with colleagues, families, and the community

• Plan and implement responsive teaching practices

• Shape a safe, positive classroom for all learners

• Demonstrate effective assessment and feedback methods

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education – Secondary required

• Diploma in Technology Education mandatory

• NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher

• Appropriate Training Methods needed

• Major in applicable subject area with equivalencies considered
