Support student learning and development as a full-time Teaching and Learning Assistant at Elizabeth Park Elementary, St. John's. This role involves collaboration with the Service Delivery Team and focuses on inclusive teaching methods.

As a permanent Teaching and Learning Assistant, you will assist the Service Delivery Team with planning, instruction, and assessment for diverse learners starting September 8, 2026. Your responsibilities will include fostering social emotional learning, engaging with families, and overseeing student progress. Applicants should possess a Teacher's Certificate Level Two and have a strong understanding of child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering inclusive instruction

• Gather evidence of student learning and adapt instructional strategies

• Create a supportive and safe learning environment

• Encourage student participation in various activities

• Collaborate with school teams to meet student needs

Requirements:

• Teacher's Certificate Level Two from the Department of Education
