Exciting opportunity to lead undergraduate labs as a Laboratory Instructor at the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation. Contribute to practical learning and student success until April 2027.
The University is seeking a Laboratory Instructor for a contractual sessional position lasting until April 30, 2027. You will design lab exercises, assist students in practical techniques, and support faculty and research activities. Collaboration with course instructors is key, along with maintaining safety standards in the lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and assist students in laboratory techniques
• Prepare and grade lab reports with attention to detail
• Collaborate in designing effective laboratory exercises
• Maintain lab equipment and oversee inventory control
• Provide remedial support to students as needed
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Kinesiology or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years in HKR laboratory instruction
• Expertise in human anatomy and physiology
• Knowledge of fitness leadership principles
• Capable of working independently and in teams
