Join the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation as a Laboratory Instructor, driving hands-on experiential training for undergraduate students. Your expertise will shape future fitness leaders until April 2027.
This contractual sessional role focuses on a rich educational environment for students in a laboratory setting at the University. You will design labs, guide students during practical sessions, and facilitate assessments, ensuring comprehensive understanding in areas like biomechanics and motor learning. Collaboration with peers enhances the instructional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and prepare laboratory classes for students
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student lab reports
• Supervise tests and oversee student assistants
• Ensure compliance with lab safety standards and protocols
• Assist in research-related faculty and student activities
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Kinesiology or equivalent
• 3-5 years of practical teaching experience
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
• Strong problem-solving and feedback skills
• Familiarity with Physical Education and Recreation programs
