Support the well-being of children as a Lunchroom Assistant thews Elementary, starting October 5, 2026. Create a nurturing environment during lunch while promoting healthy eating habits.
In this part-time role, you will supervise children while ensuring their lunchtime is both enjoyable and educational regarding nutrition. Emphasizing respectful behavior and sampling of diverse foods, this position combines direct child interaction with clerical duties as assigned. Ideal candidates have experience working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the lunchroom and children's activities
• Promote sampling of diverse and healthy foods
• Encourage proper table manners during meals
• Perform necessary clerical tasks as directed
• Support children in a friendly and educational environment
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety rules
• Clear ability to follow given instructions
• Experience in group settings with children
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities
