SLB Field Specialist – Solids Control Operator

Location: St. John's

Advance your career as an SLB Field Specialist – ES in Newfoundland, Canada. This position is centered on ensuring effective service and safety in drilling operations.

As part of your role, you will identify opportunities for service delivery improvements while managing risks during operations. Your responsibilities will include understanding the drilling fluid system, performing equipment maintenance, and actively contributing to safety programs. Mentoring new personnel and following SLB QHSE standards is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot specific drilling equipment

• Ensure safe equipment startup and shutdown

• Maintain oilfield screens during operations

• Report and track discharge volumes effectively

• Conduct risk analysis and mitigate hazards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required

• Preferred certificate in Petroleum Engineering Technology

• 2 years experience as an Environmental Solutions Specialist

• Must legally reside in Canada without sponsorship

• In-depth knowledge of drilling operations required
