Experienced Drilling Superintendent

Lead safe and efficient well operations as a Drilling Superintendent based in St. Johns, Canada, with key rotations in Norway. This role emphasizes operational excellence and contractor management.

Starting August 2026, this one-year temporary contract involves a rotational 28/28 schedule and responsible for directing drilling and completions activities. You will ensure well operations meet safety standards and utilize best practices to achieve company goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safe well operations per company standards

• Oversee well intervention and workover activities

• Manage contractors and monitor their performance

• Lead wellsite operations with field visits

• Implement cost-effective technologies and share best practices

Requirements:

• Over 15 years in drilling and completions, 3 years offshore

• Strong people management and communication skills

• Knowledge of drilling, completions, and intervention

• Familiarity with regulatory training in Canada

• Understanding of geophysical and geological concepts
