In this role, you are responsible for maintaining drilling fluid systems and resolving any technical issues related to solids management. Your knowledge of equipment operation and safety protocols will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of operations on-site. Continuous improvement and mentorship of team members are fundamental to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and perform maintenance on drilling rig equipment
• Monitor safety and environmental compliance at wellsite
• Conduct risk assessments before each operation
• Manage equipment startup and shutdown procedures
• Track and report on drilling waste and inventory
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Certificate in Petroleum Engineering Technology is preferred
• 2 years of experience as an Environmental Solutions Specialist
• Must have legal work status in Canada without sponsorship
