Your Work Environment at EXP
Under the leadership of the Project Manager based in our St. John’s, NL office
, the Geo‑Environmental Engineer/Scientist will participate in the conception, investigation, and development of various commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects within the Geotechnical and Environmental testing field across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Your Responsibilities
, including:
Geotechnical investigations
Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Soil and groundwater quality assessments
Contaminated site sampling and delineation
Soil management projects in accordance with NL environmental regulations, CCME guidelines
, and provincial permitting requirements
, site access, borehole layout, and contractor scheduling.
, test pit excavations, soil/rock sampling, and monitoring well installations using standard field methodologies under the supervision of senior engineers/professionals.
, ensuring deliverables meet project deadlines.
, properly document chain‑of‑custody, and submit to accredited laboratories.
, site characterization studies, and NL‑specific environmental compliance requirements (.,
NL Environmental Protection Act
, Contaminated Sites Program, CCME criteria).
, and client communication.
