OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and advanced technical cybersecurity professional, preferably a Microsoft MVP, to join our Global Security Operations and Engineering team. The successful candidate will lead technical security initiatives focused on Microsoft Cloud Security, encompassing architecture, implementation, and management of security platforms and tools across WSP, with particular emphasis on SOAR capabilities and SOC automation.
Job DescriptionAn important part of this role is to coach and build overall knowledge and capabilities within the team, providing insights into additional technology platforms such as AD auditing solutions, PAM, Threat Intelligence platforms, etc.

- Work with a globally distributed team, taking inputs from the business, SOC, and management to roll out systems and provide Tier‑3 support for security issues.
- Lead and guide the local Service Desk/OSS teams with knowledge bases to resolve tickets at first instance for security software and configuration issues.
- Develop automation (playbooks, SOAR), scripts to monitor system health, and manage SOC tools in use.
- Extract data from systems and build reports for management;

- Monitor and respond to feedback from customers (employees and business stakeholders).
- Bring a problem‑solving mindset and coordinate with IT teams as needed.
- Provide feedback on tooling and identify additional needs.
- Plan expansion of security tools to cover ongoing needs.
- Evaluate license usage and potential growth.
- Previous experience in security tools and systems administration, including security platform administration.
- Knowledge and experience in SIEM and Microsoft platforms (Azure), plus other vendor security systems (e.g., Cyber Ark, Akeyless).
- Proficiency with EDR systems such as MS Defender, KQL, or willingness to learn.
- Planned and meticulous approach to deliveries.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn advanced security capabilities and integrations.
- 7+ years of specialization in IT security roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, data sciences, or related field; master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
