Location: St. John's
Shape the future of environmental safety as an Intermediate Environmental Technician. This full-time role allows you to engage in fieldwork, planning, and reporting for major investigations across Eastern Canada.
Be a part of a diverse team dedicated to solving pressing environmental challenges. You will assist with essential tasks such as Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater sampling, monitoring, and supervising remediation efforts. Your expertise in managing field investigations and assessing hazardous materials will be crucial to ensuring compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to planning and execution of environmental investigations
• Manage groundwater and surface water sampling efforts
• Supervise field testing and remediation activities
• Conduct assessments for hazardous materials on-site
• Execute indoor air quality testing protocols
Requirements:
• Four years of experience in a relevant field
• Completion of a technical diploma from a recognized institution
• Registration or eligibility for association certifications (P.Tech, CET, etc.)
• Familiarity with environmental regulations in Atlantic Canada is a plus
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and GIS
