PAL Technical Services is a leader in international aerospace and defense design, development and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, line maintenance, heavy maintenance checks and modifications. Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate airworthiness support for MRO and Modification programs.
Work scope development.
STC validation.
Certification compliance based on client requirements.
Organize control program for MRO and Modification programs.
Oversee onboarding process for all company and client aircraft, including but not limited to importation preparation (IAW MSI
26).
Provide support to the PTS Airworthiness Program as required.
Communicate identified issues to the Airworthiness Manager in a timely manner and ensure discrepancies found have the required corrective actions.
Formulate technical records, planning and production to determine paths to accomplish required MRO and Modification airworthiness actions.
Complete compliance review for received ICAs as required.
Implement internal audits as required.
Support quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) functions for MRO and Modification programs in accordance with applicable customer and regulatory requirements; provide guidance and support to the airworthiness team to achieve compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards.
Deliver on-the-job training and mentoring to airworthiness coordinators.
Conduct quality and safety inspections/audits of contract operations and subcontractors.
Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and support the Airworthiness Manager in the dissemination of safety-related bulletins, technical changes, and literature to work site personnel.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Participate in safety investigations as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications AME license preferred.
3–5 years' experience in aviation with a focus on maintenance programs.
Experience working with Canadian Aviation Regulations.
Excellent analytical skills; able to interpret requirements and apply them to process development.
Strong documentation management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in auditing in an aviation environment is considered an asset.
Technical knowledge of aircraft types operated and maintained by the company is considered an asset.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and effective time management skills.
Ability to excel in a team environment and contribute to a diverse team.
