Become an integral part of WSP as a Laboratory and Field Technician and drive impactful projects across Atlantic Canada. You'll conduct tests and analyses that enhance material properties in construction.
WSP is seeking Laboratory and Field Technicians for its growing team. This role combines fieldwork and lab duties, requiring expertise in soil, concrete, and hot mix asphalt testing. Collaborate with engineers and professionals to evaluate material behavior and support innovative projects that reshape the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field and laboratory tests on materials
• Operate and maintain testing equipment for accurate results
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on ongoing projects
• Compile and analyze experimental data with concise reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Proven teamwork and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Proficient in laboratory equipment usage
• Adaptable and proactive problem solver
• Willingness to lift moderate weights as required
