CIMA+ is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for substations to enhance renewable energy initiatives across Canada. This role is perfect for experts looking to innovate in a collaborative, hybrid workplace.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead substation projects, coordinating with teams to deliver solutions that adhere to industry standards. Your direct engagement with clients will ensure the success of diverse renewable energy projects, from solar to battery storage. Mentoring junior engineers will also be a key part of your contributions, driving a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project delivery and client engagements
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Mentor and guide junior engineering professionals
• Create and oversee technical project specifications
• Uphold compliance with electrical codes and design standards
Requirements:
• 15 years of experience in electrical engineering required
• Must hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license
• Strong knowledge in substation design processes
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Willingness to travel for site work
