Lead Environmental Assessments as an Intermediate Environmental Engineer in St. John's, NL. Drive impactful remediation projects while managing field activities and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Join our Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation Team, where your role will encompass conducting Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and participation in risk assessments. This position emphasizes project coordination, oversight of subcontractors, and client interactions, vital for the growth of our environmental practice in Eastern Canada. You will also focus on technical report writing and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities throughout project life cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform Environmental Site Assessments from Phase I to IV
• Manage field sampling and oversee excavation activities
• Write and submit technical proposals to authorities
• Coordinate project tasks and subcontractor management
• Lead internal project assessment teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Science or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in ESAs
• Familiarity with regulations and FCSAP frameworks
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Flexible with travel across Atlantic Canada
