Continuous Improvement Engineer

Position: Pure Flavor Continuous Improvement Engineer
Location: St. John's

Enhance operational processes at Pure Hothouse Foods as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. This contract role (12-18 months) focuses on reducing waste and driving efficiency through Lean methodologies.

You'll be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives that promote sustainability and operational excellence. By collaborating with engineering facilities and production teams, you will help streamline processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your analytical skills will support maintaining efficiency and productivity, fostering a workplace culture dedicated to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication between engineering facilities

• Analyze equipment capacity and resource bottlenecks

• Implement improvements in inventory and maintenance processes

• Lead initiatives that enhance existing equipment operations

• Develop SOPs to ensure compliance and excellence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or relevant field

• Health and Safety and HACCP certifications preferred

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD knowledge is a plus

• Strong project management and organizational skills
