GHD is expanding its Canada East team by hiring an Intermediate Bilingual Hydrotechnical Engineer. Candidates should possess 3 to 8 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic assessments, with strong skills in dam design and simulation. You will collaborate with engineers-in-training, conduct site visits, and prepare essential reports to enhance hydraulic infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses for hydraulic structures
• Collaborate and mentor engineers-in-training on design projects
• Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports
• Promote the hydrotechnical discipline with clients and stakeholders
• Work in a multidisciplinary team environment for project success
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering
• Professional engineering designation or eligibility for registration
• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in hydrotechnics
• Strong bilingual communication skills in English and French
• Proficiency in modelling software such as HEC-RAS and ArcGIS
