Join the team as a Submarine Systems Training Specialist, leveraging your expertise to enhance training effectiveness for Royal Canadian Navy operations.
This role offers a full-time opportunity centered on strategic training solutions.
In your role as a Submarine Technical Training SME, you will serve as the go-to authority in various engineering disciplines, ensuring that submariners can operate and maintain systems safely. You will lead analyses of operational roles and training needs, design simulations, and oversee the testing of innovative training solutions, all while collaborating closely with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead systems task analysis for operational engineering training
• Define training architectures encompassing emergency procedures
• Collaborate in designing simulation scenarios and fidelity requirements
• Maintain and validate training procedures and performance criteria
• Execute training systems within shore and at-sea environments
Requirements:
• Extensive RCN submarine service operational experience
• Demonstrated expertise in submarine engineering and operations
• Proven track record with System Approach to Training
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eligibility for security clearance requirements
