DOF Canada is currently seeking a detailed oriented and client focused individual for the position of Graduate Surveyor
. A key to success for this position is the ability to collaborate with offshore and onshore personnel. The Graduate Surveyor will report to the Project Manager. If you are looking for a dynamic environment to learn and grow your career, DOF Canada is a great opportunity!

We are looking to expand our survey team to support ongoing long-term multi-year international and local projects. Expected 4 to 6 week rotation.

• Be aware and assist in the survey standards during offshore operations, including setting up and operating the survey equipment, logging, QC, and backing up of data
• Assisting the Senior Surveyor or Party Chief instructions and being supervised during a shift
• Set-up and test the online navigation and data logging systems under supervision
• Instructed in the calibration process of survey sensors
• Supervised to run the daily operation of on-line systems
• Instructed in the quality control of positioning systems/ sensors and logged data as well as the maintenance of survey quality records (including daily logbook)
• Perform work in accordance with company and project policies & procedures
• Instructed in operational activities and shown what logged data meets acceptance criteria
• Be aware of emergency procedures and drills

• Post Secondary Education in Hydrographic Survey or Geomatics degree or similar education
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
