Position: Intermediate/Senior Field Technician Role
Location: St. John's

This role is based in Newfoundland and involves monitoring compliance during the construction process for soils, concrete, and asphalt projects. Collaborate with geotechnical engineers and other technicians, offering mentorship to junior staff and helping ensure project standards are met. The position is contract-based for the 2026 construction season, with possibilities for future engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction site inspections and testing

• Train and coach less experienced technical staff

• Conduct field and lab testing for materials

• Provide coordination for testing procedures

• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety plans

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of relevant experience required

• Technical qualifications or equivalent experience

• Must hold valid Driver's License for Newfoundland & Labrador

• Experience with geotechnical drilling is a plus

• Ability to travel and work overtime as necessary
