Suncor seeks a Marine Chief Engineer with substantial offshore oil and gas experience, especially in FPSO operations. You will support both offshore execution and onshore teams, ensuring system integrity and reliability improvements.
Your role will involve real-time technical troubleshooting and enhancing safety measures in a challenging offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on complex marine system issues
• Provide technical support during critical offshore operations
• Review temporary repairs and engineering deviations
• Facilitate integration between onshore and offshore teams
• Ensure compliance with marine regulations and standards
Requirements:
• 10–15 years offshore oil & gas experience
• Valid STCW First-Class engineer certification
• Expertise in marine machinery and power systems
• Strong knowledge of marine regulatory frameworks
• Ability to travel offshore and provide support
