Aker Solutions is seeking a talented Intermediate Designer to enhance its onshore Engineering group. You will work closely with senior team members to prepare engineering documents and resolve design issues. A background in electrical instrumentation and experience with 2D and 3D design programs are essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare drawings for electrical and instrumentation scopes
• Liaise with instrumentation teams for design development
• Assist in packaging design documents and construction sets
• Calculate bills of materials per established standards
• Develop loop drawings, diagrams, and instrument deliverables
Requirements:
• Technical college diploma or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years in engineering design within industrial settings
• Familiar with regulatory codes and design specifications
• Knowledge of instrumentation design codes
• Experience in conceptual and detail design projects
