Stantec is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Technologist to enhance its multidisciplinary team. This role involves contributing to the design and execution of a range of projects while collaborating within electrical engineering. Ideal candidates should have proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and familiarity with electrical systems regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing building electrical systems
• Prepare drawings, schematics, and construction details
• Produce designs in REVIT MEP and AutoCAD
• Review equipment selections and perform engineering calculations
• Conduct site surveys and reviews for project accuracy
Requirements:
• Certificate or diploma in engineering technology
• Minimum 1 year of relevant design experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to learn quickly and think critically
• Knowledge of National Building Codes and CEC
