Become an integral part of Kraken Robotics as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in Mount Pearl, NL. Help advance ocean technologies through innovative mechanical design and simulation work.

In this role, you'll focus on engineering mechanical systems, ensuring they meet technical specifications. You'll conduct finite element analysis, develop build instructions, and maintain crucial documentation throughout the design process. You'll also mentor junior engineers, fostering growth while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize mechanical systems with CAD software

• Conduct stress and thermal analysis for product safety

• Create and maintain documentation for processes and systems

• Develop test plans to ensure compliance and performance

• Collaborate across engineering disciplines for project success

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years’ experience

• Expertise in 3D CAD and engineering standards

• Strong technical reporting and communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work well in teams and independently
