Location: Mount Pearl
Design electrical systems in Mount Pearl with Kraken Robotics, applying PCB development, wiring harness, and documentation skills during a January 2027 work term.
This four-month work term supports Kraken Robotics’ Electrical Engineering team. You will contribute to subsea robotics, batteries, and acoustic imaging equipment while developing practical engineering experience. Hands-on work includes electrical design, system integration, testing, and product documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform electrical system design and drawing tasks
- Assist with PCB design and development
- Design wiring harnesses and cable assemblies
- Develop system architectures and integrate electrical components
- Prepare drawings, schematics, manuals, and procedures
- Complete a Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
- Remain academically eligible for the work term
- Prior exposure to Altium, Zuken E3, or Colab is an asset
- Demonstrate strong English communication skills
- Prioritize multiple tasks under tight timelines
