Decision Support Consultant

Our client, a large Insurance Company, is hiring a Decision Support Consultant to support Insurance Advisors within the Insurance Business. This role primarily focuses on Financial Modelling and Business case analysis in addition to some more traditional FP&A reporting.

The majority of this role is working with the business to build new Financial Models for projects, compensation, new product lines, etc. The successful candidate will support advisor compensation structures, distribution profitability, and sales initiatives, partnering closely with senior finance leadership. In addition, the Decision Support Consultant will prepare budgets, forecasts and perform variance analysis.

The Key Responsibilities include the following;

• Build and maintain financial models supporting advisor sales, compensation structures, and distribution strategy
• Analyze the financial impact of advisor contract changes and compensation adjustments
• Own distribution profit statements and key performance metrics
• Develop business cases for advisor sales initiatives and contact centre operations
• Support senior leaders with clear financial analysis and presentations
• Partner with senior consultants and provide support to junior analysts as required

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• 4-6 years of relevant financial experience with strong Financial Modelling exposure including development of new models from scratch
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• CPA, MBA, or CFA designations considered a strong asset
• Advanced MSExcel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; basic macros)
• Strong communication and presentation skill

• Salary range: $90,000-$110,000
• Vacation: 3-4 weeks
