Senior Financial Analyst
We are a growth‑oriented company in the hospitality and wellness sectors, with over 100 employees and a diverse business portfolio that includes boutique hotels, spas, restaurants, apartments, and healthcare. We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and strengthening processes across a decentralized organization.
The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day accounting functions while contributing to stronger financial processes and informed decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Support month‑end financial close activities
Assist with monthly financial reporting, analysis, and variance review
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
Develop and enhance financial processes and internal controls
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting, or completion of an accredited accounting program
4‑6 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities
Self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with Sage 50 accounting software and Google Sheets/Excel
Ability to navigate multiple technology platforms that support the different business lines
