Lead the charge in Public Affairs with NATIONAL in Newfoundland and Labrador. This strategic role offers a unique opportunity to influence communications and client engagement regionally and nationally.
As a senior member of the Atlantic and Canadian Advisory practice, you'll provide critical counsel on public affairs and reputation management. You will represent NATIONAL's interests in Newfoundland and broaden client relationships throughout Atlantic Canada. Utilize your strong judgment to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Counsel clients on reputational and strategic challenges
• Elevate NATIONAL's presence and influence in Newfoundland
• Discover and develop new client opportunities
• Foster connections across sectors and communities
• Act as an integrated thinker in public affairs and communications
Requirements:
• Senior-level experience in public relations or related fields
• Deep understanding of the local political and media landscape
• Strong skills in writing, presentation, and facilitation
• Proven ability to build trust with executives and officials
• Relevant degree in communications or a related field
