Walmart Relief Pharmacist Position

Location: Mount Pearl

Elevate patient care at Walmart Canada as a Relief Pharmacist in Mount Pearl. You will play a crucial role in managing prescriptions and fostering strong relationships within the community.

In the role of Relief Pharmacist, you will assist both the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in everyday operations. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate prescription filling, protecting patient privacy, and adhering to pharmaceutical regulations. This position requires effective communication with healthcare partners and occasional travel to various pharmacy locations as outlined by the Relief program schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist on the sales floor

• Fulfill and manage prescription requests accurately

• Counsel patients regarding their medications and products

• Ensure compliance with storage and dispensing regulations

• Collaborate with local healthcare providers for enhanced services

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old

• A valid Pharmacist License is mandatory

• Additional Prescribing Authorization preferred in Alberta

• Abide by OBWs and maintain patient confidentiality

• Willingness to travel as required by the Relief program
