Join The Gathering Place in St. John's as a Human Resources Advisor. Provide essential HR support, employee engagement, and policy administration in a permanent full-time role.

As part of the team at The Gathering Place, this HR Advisor will serve as a resource for managers and employees, addressing HR policies, recruitment, and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with regulations while promoting a supportive workplace culture and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise managers and staff on HR policies and legislation

• Manage recruitment activities including interviews and onboarding

• Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations

• Develop and review HR policies for organizational needs

• Coordinate attendance and disability management processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

• At least three years of HR experience, ideally in a unionized setting

• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices

• Strong organizational skills for handling priorities

• CPHR designation or progress towards it is an asset
